What happens?

Psychotherapy gives you an opportunity to share your problems in confidence with someone trained to listen and interpret your experience. It will provide you with a safe, non-judgmental and confidential environment to explore thoughts and feelings about yourself and your relationships with others, and may help you to make significant changes in your life.

You may wish to have short-term or long-term therapy; both are catered for at the Practice.

Sessions usually take place once weekly; however more frequent sessions may also be possible. Sessions for individuals last 50 minutes per session, couple therapy requires a longer 60 minute session. 

The first step is to get in touch either by email at janetkotecha@gmail.com or by phone on 0781 3333 212. I will spend time listening to you and answering any questions you have. We can then choose a time for your initial session in which we will explore whether psychotherapy can benefit you and you can decide whether you wish to continue with therapy.
