When I left university,  I embarked on a career in Commerce, living and working first in Vienna, then in London, and then in Sydney. While living in Sydney, I trained in Psychology and I was honoured to receive the 'Best Student in Psychology' award by Sydney University. By the time I returned to the UK, I was determined to pursue my passion and become a Psychotherapist. I undertook a five year training course at the renowned School of Psychotherapy and Counselling in London to become an Integrative Psychotherapist. My practical training was obtained at St Bartholomew's Hospital, London and at Charing Cross Hospital, London. I obtained a Masters degree and Post Masters Advanced Diploma, attained accreditation through the BACP and became a UKCP Practitioner.

I have been practising since 2002, for the NHS, in hospitals and at GP practices, and I have mentored counsellors for ChildLine.  I have gained a vast amount of experience including in Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, Eating disorders, Addictions, Personality Disorders, Depression and Anxiety.

During my 20 years as a Psychotherapist I have also trained in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) at the Oxford Cognitive Therapy Centre, worked in private therapy services, and for a drugs and alcohol rehabilitation centre.

I opened my private practice in 2005 from where I help people with a wide variety of issues.
