While living in Sydney, I trained in Psychology and I was honoured to receive the 'Best Student in Psychology' award by Sydney University. By the time I returned to the UK, I was determined to pursue my passion and become a Psychotherapist. I undertook a five year training course at the renowned School of Psychotherapy and Counselling in London to become an Integrative Psychotherapist. My practical training was obtained at St Bartholomew's Hospital, London and at Charing Cross Hospital, London. I obtained a Masters degree and Post Masters Advanced Diploma, attained accreditation through the BACP and became a UKCP Practitioner. I have been practising since 2002, my experience included NHS, hospitals and GP practices and mentoring counsellors for ChildLine.  I gained a vast amount of experience including in Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, Eating disorders, Addictions, Personality Disorders, Depression and Anxiety.

I have also trained in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) at the Oxford Cognitive Therapy Centre.

I subsequently worked private therapy services, and an alcohol and drugs rehabilitation centre before setting up my own private practice where I work with people with a wide variety of issues.
